We are so glad that the weather is getting better and Kaleigh can play outside again! On Saturday Nathan and I worked all day in the yard removing these leaves, and Kaleigh entertained herself for hours outside. We will be planting some gardens soon, and doing our 2nd attempt at growing grass in the backyard, and hopefully have some sort of play area for Kaleigh by the end of summer. We'll keep you updated on our progress. Now, I must go read about perennials that will look pretty year round and thrive in the shade with little upkeep.

It was a beautiful weekend! We worked on our yard too-we're giving our flowerbeds a second try this year--they didn't do too well last year! And now we're supposed to get 8-11" of snow tonight.

It is time to get back into the yard again isn't it? Sounds like you all have a nice plan for your yard this year. Coleus is a nice shade plant, but it's an annual plant. Does really well spreading and becoming full when you keep it pinched back, pinching the new leaves on top and the little flowers. Plant several, they are really nice.
